the intelligent sanitation integration project built by Maoyuan Environmental Protection for Nanshan District of Shenzhen City was officially put into operation recently. Through the deployment of automatic driving cleaning equipment and digital management platform, the project has realized the intelligent control of the whole process of sanitation operation in the jurisdiction area, providing a new model for the fine management of the city.
Project Background
with the continuous improvement of urban management requirements, the traditional sanitation model faces high labor costs, low operational efficiency, difficult supervision and other pain points. - smart Device Deployment: The project has deployed a total of 20 self-driving sweepers, covering all major and secondary roads and public squares in the area, supporting 24-hour uninterrupted operation, and realizing integrated operation of road cleaning, watering and dust reduction, and garbage collection.
- digital management platform: Build an intelligent sanitation management system to realize the visual management of the whole process of vehicle positioning, operation track monitoring, garbage overflow warning and personnel scheduling, so that managers can grasp the dynamics of sanitation operations in real time.
- AI garbage classification supporting: Synchronously put in intelligent classified garbage cans, guide residents to put in correctly through AI recognition, automatically push the removal reminder after the garbage overflows, optimize the removal route, and reduce invalid operations.

since the project was put into operation, it has achieved remarkable results:
- the coverage rate of road cleaning is 100 per cent, the efficiency of operation is 60 per cent higher than that of the traditional model, and the cost of cleaning a single road is reduced by more than 30 per cent;
- the labor cost is reduced by 45%, the garbage retention rate is reduced by 90%, and the qualified rate of road cleaning is stable at more than 98%;
- the realization of sanitation operations data supervision, problem response speed increased by 80%, the public complaint rate dropped significantly.
